Having a gifted child can be exhilarating as well as demanding. It could also feel lonesome at times due to lack of similar gifted children and families to connect with. Gifted children need customized educational choices due to their unique learning abilities. Some children may suffer from Learning Disabilities with giftedness as in 'Twice Exceptional'.
Gifted is also defined differently by people, and a word that is widely misinterpreted. Reading some of the gifted articles, websites, books, and also observing your child and learning to understand his or her unique gifts can be a life long journey.
These following link and resources hopefully offers you with much needed information, support and guidance to help you understand your unique gifted child.
