AP MUSIC THEORY

These are some of the materials we collected for the AP Music Theory test. As independent homeschoolers we found it difficult to get hold a school to offer AP Music Theory test to our child. We found out that very few schools offered this exam in our neighborhood in the bay area. It helps to act early (around late Fall to early Winter) on finding the schools that are willing to proctor this test to your homeschooled kids.

  2. Hello Angela,
I am glad this was useful. I wish I had posted this before my daughter's AP test :-). I found a few more wonderful sites after her test. Now it would be useful for my son:-). Thank you for visiting and commenting here. My daughter also tells me that it is good to hire a private music teacher to sort of keep the aural training and general music theory in place for the preparation. She did not have that opportunity but wishes she did.
